Oh, and while you mentioned no need for critique on the old files, I gotta say I really like the part in the lava area with the spikes 'chasing' you through the hallway. Guzheng sounds and animates fine, the first time I pulled it up, there was no sound, but couldn't recreate that on subsequent tries, so maybe just something screwy on my end.

Gameplay seems alright so far, didn't seem like I could interact with any NPCs, which I assume is intentional until the demo is further developed. Frame rate test was steady, even with numerous Wurmples (I think they were?) on screen and whatnot. All the music played just fine, from my experience, no issues there. Clicking the X froze the window, forcing me to close out of the program. Pulling up the program to test it had a small window pop up for a moment, then nothing, with an X in the corner (which I assume is the failed video loading). Video seemed to be the only thing that didn't work for me. Did a quick test all around, and I suppose I'll just go through your little list there.
